About the SOCAL Spring League

The SOCAL Spring League is a SOCAL-operated seasonal league circuit designed to support player development and club planning during the spring months.

Built specifically for younger age groups, the Spring League provides balanced competition, regionalized scheduling, and consistent league standards—allowing players to continue developing while teams prepare for the upcoming season.

Competition begins following the conclusion of the State Cup, creating a seamless transition into spring play within a familiar SOCAL structure.

Levels of Play

The SOCAL Spring League offers competition across multiple levels to ensure teams are placed in developmentally appropriate environments. Pre-N1 (U10–U12) (2026-27 team age group), Flight 1, Flight 2, Flight 3

Pre-N1 (U10–U12)

(2026-27 team age group)

New for the 2026 season, the Pre-N1 Spring Division provides an advanced competitive option for U10–U12 (2026-27 team age group) boys’ and girls’ teams.

This open geography division, administered directly by SOCAL, is designed for teams seeking a higher competitive environment as part of their long-term development pathway.

The division supports:

  • Top Flight 1 teams in smaller geographic areas
  • Teams that previously participated in Pre-N1
  • Teams preparing for potential Pre-N1 participation in the upcoming fall season

Teams that apply but are not accepted into the Pre-N1 Spring Division will be placed into their appropriate regional Flight 1 Spring League, ensuring continued competitive play.
